“Time is a jewel” is Bulgari’s leitmotif at this 12 months’s LVMH Watch Week which takes place in Singapore. In accordance with this motto, the Maison pulls out all of the stops when it comes to excessive jewellery watches, treating the women with treasured executions of the Divas’ Dream, Allegra and Serpenti strains.
Celebrating their Roman dwelling, the Bulgari craftsmen drew inspiration from the golden age of the Everlasting Metropolis and the fan form of the ginkgo leaf, depicted within the mosaics on the ground gracing Rome’s Baths of Caracalla. The 2 new Divas’ Dream Mosaica that are pushed by the “solo tempo” self-winding manufacture caliber BVL 191 pay tribute to those historic thermae. On their full-set dial, a fan-shaped sample recollects the mosaics adorning the baths, with a refined sapphire gradient starting from pale pink to magenta for the rose gold model and from sky blue to deep azure for the white gold iteration. A cultured gold ornamental fillet rims this design, towards a background of brilliant-cut diamonds. Vividly colored gems gentle up the hours on the bezel and crown set with cabochon-cut diamonds.
The Divas’ Dream Mosaica Pink Sapphire debuting in a 37-mm rose gold case is fitted with a purple alligator leather-based that includes a gold and diamond folding clasp. The design of the bracelet’s gemset lugs echoes the dial motifs.
The Divas’ Dream Mosaica Blue Sapphire with blue sapphires and white gold case is paired with a spectacular bracelet created by Bulgari’s goldsmiths. Every of its fan-shaped hyperlinks sparkles with a profusion of diamonds.
Two new quartz-driven Allegra timepieces superbly spotlight Bulgari’s experience in haute joaillerie by disrupting conventional concepts of gem-set watches and expressing joie de vivre in a most colourful method. A “cocktail” of colourful gems – tourmalines, citrines, rhodolites and peridots – in quite a lot of joyful shapes, related to pink or yellow sapphires, body the diamond-set bezel and mother-of-pearl dials with diamond markers.
